Reigning champion qualifies automatically plus top 15 from order of merit league. Players failing to appear, opponent qualifies no substitutes. In the event of a tie, the player who has played in more qualifying rounds will go through, if still tied the lowest par average counts. The draw is numerical as per The Council Of National Golf Unions reccomended system for matching players as well as the handicaps. The handicap will be the full difference between the two players awarded to the higher handicap.
